An artist in the space between.
I am an artist who exists in the beautiful space between doodling and fine art, a space I have spent years curating without ever feeling the need to confine it to a single name or niche. My work is not defined by what it is called, but by what it contains: geometry, intricate patterns, and an unwavering commitment to theme. I do not create without purpose. Every piece I make tells a story, explores an idea, or challenges a perception.
My journey as a creator began at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kolkata, where I graduated in 2005 as a fashion designer. For over a decade I worked with prominent designers and export houses. Those years taught me the language of textiles, the discipline of construction, and the art of translating a vision into a tangible, desirable form.
Today I experiment fearlessly with three-dimensional hardware. Pearls, beads and metals are not embellishments to me. They are essential components of my artistic vocabulary. They are my paint, my ink, and my sculpture all at once.
My art is my love. My art is my emotion.
