Refund policy

Cancellations. You may cancel an order within 4 hours of completing it, as long as the item has not been dispatched. Prints are made to order, so a print cannot be cancelled once printing has started. To cancel, email support@shatabdimandal.com with your order number.

Damaged in delivery

We pack every artwork with great care and ship it insured. If your original artwork or print arrives damaged, please follow these steps so that we can claim from the courier and help you quickly:

  1. Record the opening. Either open the parcel in front of the delivery person, or record a continuous, unedited video of the opening. The video should start with the sealed parcel and the shipping label visible, then show the parcel being opened and the artwork inside.
  2. Report within 24 hours of delivery. Email support@shatabdimandal.com with your order number, the video or clear photographs of the damage, and photographs of the packaging.
  3. Keep all the packaging until your claim has been settled. The courier may need to inspect it.

If we cannot see how the parcel was opened, or the damage is reported after 24 hours, we may not be able to approve a refund or replacement.

Original artworks. An original is one of a kind and cannot be replaced. If a claim is approved, we will refund the purchase price. We will tell you whether the damaged artwork needs to be returned.

Prints. Prints can be reprinted. If a claim is approved, we will first replace the print. If we cannot replace it within 7 days, we will refund the price paid.

Other things

Authenticity. Claims that an original artwork is not genuine are covered by our Authenticity guarantee.

Digital editions. A digital edition is delivered as a download. Because it can be copied once downloaded, digital editions cannot be returned or refunded, except where the file is faulty and we are unable to provide a working one.

How refunds are paid. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method (Razorpay or PayPal). The time it takes to reach you depends on your bank or card provider.
